Restocking Fee Policy

At ACS Motorsports, we strive to provide premium carbon fiber products and a smooth purchasing experience. In order to maintain the quality, integrity, and availability of our inventory, we apply a restocking fee on certain returned items.

This policy outlines when restocking fees apply, how they're calculated, and what exceptions may exist.


When Restocking Fees Apply

A restocking fee of 15% to 25% will be applied in the following cases:

  • Products returned without original packaging or with signs of handling or damage

  • Returns of non-defective items (e.g., buyer’s remorse, incorrect fit due to buyer error)

  • Bulk orders or items originally purchased with volume discounts

The exact percentage will depend on the specific item and the complexity of re-stocking.


When Restocking Fees Are Waived

We do not charge a restocking fee when:

  • You received the wrong item due to our error.

  • The item arrived damaged or defective and you reported it within 7 days.

  • The return was pre-approved and determined to be due to an issue on our end.

  • You are exchanging an item for another of equal or greater value. (case-by-case basis)


How It Works

  • Restocking fees are deducted from your total refund amount after the return is inspected and approved.

  • We’ll notify you of the restocking fee and final refund total before processing.

  • Fees are applied per item and not per order.


Why We Charge Restocking Fees

Carbon fiber components require precise handling and packaging. Once opened or returned, items require inspection and repackaging before they can be resold. Restocking fees help us offset those costs while keeping our prices competitive for all customers.
